The comedian known as Fig (whose real name is Craig Figueiredo) hit the comedy scene strong out of Brooklyn, NY with the popular improv group ZOE PLAYERS. His Standup career was birthed at the underground comedy club which was later turned into a national groundbreaking weekly television comedy series The UPTOWN Comedy Club.  Fig has shared the stage several of the greats including Doug E Doug, Flex, Tracy Morgan, and the late Monteria Ivey.

 

Fig’s comedy has put him on stages across the country and abroad, and been featured on several ground breaking comedy television shows including The Uptown Comedy Club, The Apollo Comedy Hour, Russell Simons’ Def Comedy Jam, and BET’s Comic View.

 

In addition, over the years Fig has also become an accomplished actor being cast in television commercials and episodes for many programs, and also using his comedic talents for voiceovers. Such commercials for Burger King, Ford, Nike, Mastercard, and Walmart, Wendy Williams and Saturday Night Live are just a few of the shows/commercials that featured his many talents. 

 

Fig is the total package- comedian, host and actor.  Any stage he steps on will be lit up with laughter.
